Gun Lake Online business directory is up and running.

Trolley By The Lake 2012.

The Gun Lake Business Association again brings back the popular "Trolley By The Lake". Many thanks should be given to the Trolley Committee of the GLBA -Rhonda Parsons, Ozzie Martinez, Bruce Campbell, Mark Paradowski, and headed by Kim Bedford to again provide everyone a great Saturday night activity. Grab the kids and let them enjoy a fun open air ride.
The Committee has raffles to help pay for the costs so that it will remain a free ride. They just held one at winterfest.

  • 1st prize - 21” 4-cycle Snowthrower – Jeff Brown

  • 2nd prize - $300 Weick’s Foodtown Grocery Card – Bill Michaels (Weick’s generously donated $50 towards the grocery card so the cost to the GLBA was only $250!)

  • 3rd prize - $100 Visa Gift Card – Deb Cronkright

The Committee will provide donation Jars at each stop for those of you who would like to see the trolley continue to operate during the summer season.

Actual stops and details will appear here as the time draws near for the "Trolley By The Lake". If all goes as planned the hours will run from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm Saturday nights from May 26th Memorial Day weekend for 12 weeks through August 11th.

Any business that would like to sponsor the Trolley can get in touch with Kim Bedford at (269)672-7484, kim.bedford@unitedbankofmichican.com, or go to the GLBA website and "Contact Us". General donations are appreciated and can be dropped off to Kim or sent to our PO Box (Gun Lake Business Association, PO Box 334, Shelbyville, MI 49344).

Some changes Coming.

The Gun Lake Online web site, our business listing web site for the Gun Lake Area will be going under re-construction starting the 1st of April. No FOOLING. It will be a complete overhaul. Businesses that have been listed on the site will still have a place there. We are adding a complete new style to the listings and a few other changes as well. The Gun Lake Online Magazine and the Gun Lake Online business listing web sites will be linked together providing better service to full time and summer residences. Also any one searching for Gun Lake Michigan will find either address and be able to view the directory as well as the magazine.

For a while the directory part of www.gunlakeonline.com will be down. Once the directory is up and running we will let you know. A new Home page will appear on the site when we first start the project. If you are a business owner and want more details, please feel free to contact BRML Enterprises, LLC by email <HERE>
